Nauti Boy by Lora Leigh

Marine Rowdy Mackay has returned home to Kentucky-and to the girl he left behind: Kelly Benton. But before they can engage in the erotic games that have earned him his Nauti boy reputation, he must fight to save her from the deadly threats of a stranger.

Lora Leigh does a wonderful job of describing the scenes, characters, and emotions of the book. I was feeling they terror that Kelly was feeling when the man was stalking her. The connection that Rowdy and Kelly felt for each other was described so perfectly that I was feeling emotions right along with them. Excellent job Lora Leigh, excellent job.

Now that I’m done praising the author for that I must praise her again for her sex scenes. Another excellent job. They were arousing and made you wish that you were Kelly…or Rowdy, if you’re a male reading her books. Speaking of which, she did an excellent job switching points of view. Part of the book was written from Kelly’s point of view and the other from Rowdy’s which was all third person but still really well done. It wasn’t hard to follow at all.

There’s one part of the book that I have to point out that people/readers might have a moral issue with. Kelly and Rowdy are step-siblings. I know that they are not related by blood but some people can take the point of view that because they were raised together that they shouldn’t think of each other like that. I understand that point of view but I think that people should look beyond that because these two were obviously meant for each other and really, truly in love.

One other thing I want to mention is that Kelly’s last name has not been clearly stated in this book. In the above description pulled off of Amazon.com she is called Kelly Benton. However, her name in Nauti Nights was referred to as Kelly Salyers. I don’t know if Amazon.com was wrong or if something changed that I missed in the naming somewhere. Anyway just a strange coincidence that I thought I’d mention in case anybody else runs across it.

In the end I’m rating this book 4.5 stars. This was really well written. The plot was well thought out. The character relationships were well thought out. All around applause for Lora Leigh and Nauti Boy.

Fire in the Mix by Cynthia Morgan

Will her icy resistance deter his hot pursuit?
PAST: Fire Meets Ice
He looked familiar, but why? Gabriel Savage exploded onto the scene taking lingerie manager/wannabe clothing designer Veronica Hunter by surprise. The rogue who had claimed her innocence and forever changed her life was back as the same sexy, charming, egotistical rock star. Except – something about him was different. Could he have changed?
PRESENT: Slow Burn
Gabriel had come face to face with a beautiful ice princess and he was shocked at her obvious disdain for him. He wasn’t used to that.  Most women found him irresistible; eagerly hopping into his bed and claiming their undying love. This one was different somehow. She was a challenge and she seemed to know him, but he didn’t know who she was, and worse – she wouldn’t tell him.
FUTURE: Blazing a Trail
Trying to fight, but ultimately losing, their magnetic pull towards each other, fires that had lain dormant were now blazing hot and unquenchable. But when heartbreak, jealousy and doubts collide with their raw, undeniable and overwhelming passion, can they put aside their past and mix fire with love?

Fire in the Mix is a self-published novel that is about two people who have to get over their past in order to make a future for themselves. After 11 years of separation they have to go back and heal the wounds that were caused by a one night stand.
I was amazed at the little details that carried throughout the book. The pink ribbon work in her hair was a detail that made its way throughout the entire story and made it quaint instead of annoying.
There was a good amount of sex throughout the book but it seemed sweet and romantic even when the sex was something different. I liked that style and the way this book was written. It made it easy to read and something that I wasn’t afraid to read in public for fear of blushing.
In the end I’m giving this book 3.75 stars. I think some of the mistakes throughout the book were enough to be distracting but the content of the story made me want to keep reading anyway.

Saint or Sinner by Cheryl St. John

A Match Made In Heaven
Home from the war, Joshua McBride was determined to put his rakish youth behind him and grab a second chance at a life worth living. Yet how could he convince the oh-so-correct Miss Adelaide Stapleton that his hell-raising days were truly over?
People weren’t always what they seemed – Addie knew that for a fact. For her own past held secrets that were best left uncovered. But how could she trust Joshua’s claims to be reformed, when he was tempting her to lose her heart?

This was a lovely story about Joshua trying to prove to his hometown that he really had changed because of the war. Addie was having a hard time with that because she was living a lie. She was running from a man and was hiding her true identity. Joshua was making her come to the realization that she wanted to live a guilt free life as well.
This was written as most historical romances are… lots of romance and not much sex. But in this case, it actually worked for the tone of the story. Joshua and Addie were religious people trying to make their lives better. They were in love but needed to romance each other to get past all the normal drama and see if for themselves.
I actually wanted to know about one of the side characters, Ricky Dean. I think if Cheryl St. John had given his character to someone like Sharon Page, then there would be a fantastic erotic novel in the making. He wasn’t a big character in the book but he had potential.
I liked that Cheryl St. John was able to bring the background of the town to life. That’s why I’m rating this novel 3.75 stars. It was good but something that I’ll only read once.

A Matter Among Four by Destiny Blaine

In Lewisburg, Tennessee, Kimbrell and Darlene are well known among the locals. They're the poor little rich girls who inherited a large family farm with oil flowing rampant under their piece of ground. When Darlene leaves on her honeymoon, Kimbrell isn't ready to manage a working ranch but she isn't opposed to supervising a few good cowboys. And they're ready for any man's job, especially those tasks most important to a promiscuous woman. When the Carlisle brothers show up at Kimbrell's farm willing to use their working hands, it only takes Kimbrell a few hours to realize her guests have ulterior motives. With a lot to accomplish in due time, these men make every second count. Before Kimbrell can pull back on the reins, they've roped her in using the strength of three men and no one, not even past lovers, will tear her away from them.

This story left me a little confused in the beginning. Kimbrell wakes up and there’s three brothers at her door ready and willing to take her into their lives. There’s hints that she’s some sort of a sex addict that refuses to turn down anyone who comes knocking on her door.
Part of this story is good. Kimbrell and the three brothers have to work out how much they like each other and some sort of trust. But other than that it sort of lost me to have to figure out what was going on. I know that Destiny Blaine was trying to keep it to a short story but some more back story would have made a world of difference to the flow of the story.
At the end, I’m giving this book 3 stars. It’s good but it feels like it needs work.

A Little Magic by Nora Roberts

In “Spellbound,” a beautiful lady casts a thousand-year spell on the man of her dreams – and unleashes a nightmare only love can conquer… “Ever After” follows an enchanting woman as she journeys to an otherworldly land – and introduces a handsome artist to the transforming power of love… “In Dreams” links a young woman to a stranger’s past – and to the curse that has trapped him forever in the eternity of his own dreams…

These three books combined are a great read. They are short so feel free to set them down to take care of other things…personally I found that I didn’t want to set the book down. It only took me a couple of hours to read each other them…basically the whole collection in one day.
I like the way that she’s able to tie Irish roots and magic together. I’ve always heard that Ireland is a magical land so I’m not surprised that she was able to make this connection.
In the end I’m giving this book 4 stars. It’s really good and my constant complaint was that it was too short. J

In Dreams by Nora Roberts

In Dreams links a young woman to a stranger’s past – and to the curse that has trapped him forever in the eternity of his own dreams…

This novel is about Flynn and Kayleen. Flynn is cursed that he should live 100 years like a ghost (unable to feel anything) and then 1 week to be able to feel. It’s been 500 years and he still hasn’t learned his lesson. Then Kayleen, off on a whirlwind strictly guided down to the hour adventure, gets lost and ends up in his forest. He takes her in and thinks that he shall ‘claim’ her and keep her after he turns back into mist. He realizes that he loves her and puts her before himself and ends up setting himself free. I won’t give you more detail than that because then you won’t read the book. *wink*
I like the premise of the book and I like the way it was written. There is one thing about it that I don’t like. Kayleen is this massively logical, strict, and rational adult. She really takes it overboard. But then she believes Flynn’s story, believes he’s magical, and suddenly she’s carefree and head over heels. It seems a little too unbelievable for this characters background. But we assume that it is fine and that she’s able to cope in this way and the story is great.
I like that Nora Roberts takes a moment to assess the right and wrong of using magic to transport items to the castle. It makes you realize that just because you can do magic doesn’t mean you can use it unwisely.
In the end I’m giving this book 3 stars. It’s good but I just didn’t find it as ‘fun’ as I normally do.

Ever After by Nora Roberts

Ever After follows an enchanting woman as she journeys to an otherworldly land – and introduces a handsome artist to the transforming power of love…

Ever After is the story about Allena Kennedy finding her way to an island in a storm where she is rescued/taken in by Conal O’Neil. Conal has been fighting a prophecy about his family that every hundred years two people who are in love (him and someone else) pledge to each other in the circle of stones near his family home. He has been fighting it but he can’t fight his attraction and love for Allena.
Okay…I did a better job summing up this story than the cover did! Plus the internet has let me down. I couldn’t find a description of this book by itself. It’s in a three-in-one book called A Little Magic and it’s the only place it’s referenced. Yet the copyright in the inside says that it was published, or at least copyrighted, in 1999. But I couldn’t even find it by itself on Nora Roberts website. I guess if I downloaded the complete booklist I might have found it…
The story of Allena and Conal is one about predestined fates and the way that people fight against it, rather the way Conal was fighting against it. Allena seemed to revel in the fact that she was on an Irish island and was surrounding by the magic that was the island. It was really nice to see that Allena didn’t fit in anywhere else but she fit in perfectly at Conal’s home.
My favorite part was Conal’s definition of love. “He’d wakened reaching for her. How could a man spend one night with a woman, then find his bed so cold, so empty when she wasn’t in it? Then that panic, that drawing down in the gut, when he hadn’t been able to find her. Was there a name for this other than love?” (page179). Now I haven’t actually put the whole quote here. I just pulled the sentences pertinent to my point. He knew he loved her but didn’t want to admit it.
This book was so fun to read. Personally I really want to go visit Ireland and Nora Roberts allows me to picture it in my head. She brings the characters to life and makes me want to go visit them and make sure they are continually happy.
In the end I am rating this book 4.25 stars. It was really good, I just wish it was longer.

Goddess of Love: A Goddess Summoning Novel by P.C. Cast

My goddess, does Pea Chamberlain ever need a makeover! Her shoes, hair, clothes, makeup: all disasters, especially if she wants to attract ĂĽber-sexy fireman Griffin DeAngelo at the firemen’s masked ball. And who better to coax Pea out of her pod than the Goddess of Love, whom she invokes when she gets her hands on a book of enchantments.
Sure enough, Venus works her magic on Pea, which is what she has been doing for eons – helping other find love. But who will help the Goddess of Love when she finds herself falling head over heels for the same sexy fireman she is trying to land for Pea? Could it be that Venus needs a love makeover herself? Check out the fireworks when the Goddess of Love unexpectedly loses her heart…

P.C. Cast knows what she’s doing when it comes to writing a novel. As a side note, I adore her House of Night novels that she writes with her daughters. But beside that I LOVE her Goddess Summoning novels. So far I own 5 of the 7. Perhaps I’ll get the other two for my birthday! P.C. Cast knows how to mix ancient gods and goddesses of myth with the modern world and new characters.
This story is about Pea being a very awkward person and invoking the Goddess of Love, Venus, to help her learn how to become a sexy, beautiful, and confident woman. For reasons unknown, but I’ll blame fate, Venus and Pea are both at the same restaurant and Venus hears Pea invoking her. She decides to answer and thinks it’ll be fun.
It doesn’t take much to make Pea sexy. Venus just brings out her inner beauty. Which was really nice to read, because I don’t like when people with magical abilities changes a person without teaching them how to do it themselves. Venus takes the time and teaches Pea beauty care, makeup and being able to dress sexy.
There wasn’t a whole lot of sex in this book. There were a few steamy places and they were greatly appreciated, however this book focused on ‘love’ and the different ways of making a person happy. By the end, both women had their romantic interests and they loved each other as well. They sister/friend bond is a love that many women need to take account for in their lives.
In the end I am rating this book 4.5 stars. I loved it and can’t wait to read more of P.C. Cast’s worlds (Tulsa, OK) in the future.

Kat Rides the Iron Men by Christine Michaels

Katherine McCoy is a feisty card shark trying to play her way to a better future. She heads to Carson City, Nevada, expecting some rough and tumble cowboys along the way. Kat's plans are upturned when she meets rugged Gideon Marshall who clearly knows how to play himself into her heart...and her knickers.

A gambler by night and a hard laborer by day, Gideon and his lover and boss, sexy Nathan Harcker, a steely railroad mogul, set their sights on her. But claiming the stubborn and fiercely independent Kat, especially when she has no time for love, will take more lusty energy than Gideon and Nathan anticipated, but these men never back down from a challenge. Can Kat get her head back in the game before it's too late?

This book was really good. I wasn’t sure if it would be considering it’s about a card shark and men who work for the rail road. But the plot didn’t have anything to do with intricacies of their jobs/professions. This story was about a woman who didn’t want to be claimed by two men who wanted her equally as well as each other.
This is a different situation because many of these books are about two men sharing because the woman wants them both. Or they both want her and decide to share. This is different. This is two men who love each other who want a woman to complete their relationship. It was nice reading about because she had never thought of something like that before.
In the end I’m giving this book 3.75 stars. It was good and the relationship factor is something to really think about.

Dancing With Darcy by Addison Avery

Garrett is in the closet. He hasn't acted upon his cravings for other men and since he hasn't connected intimately with a man, he's not gay, but things are about to change.
Garrett holds tight to a bitter-sweet memory of Darcy, his dead high school sweetheart. Her ghost leads him home for the holidays and straight into the arms of his best friends.
Sam and Logan are committed life partners. Garrett is familiar with their sexual preferences. He wants to explore a relationship with them but he's hesitant to make the first move. Admittedly, he's attracted to both men, and truly believes Darcy's ghost wants him to find comfort in their arms.
When Garrett returns home for the holidays, he's eager to revisit a past he once left behind. Sam and Logan offer him their couch but their southern hospitality extends far beyond what he ever imagined. Once Garrett discovers what goes on under their mistletoe, he is hooked and the best he can hope for is an open invitation to stay.

The background listed above is more than you’ll get in the story. All I got from the story was that they lived/worked on a farm/ranch, Darcy was a ghost, and Garrett wants to be gay but doesn’t want to disappoint Darcy’s ghost, especially since she’s watching most of the time. That being said, it’s not a bad story. Some of the background needs to be filled in or spaced out but the story itself is of a gay man who wants to be gay but can’t because of his fears. His friends openly accept him and teach him to accept himself.
I haven’t read strictly gay material before this. Usually I read books with multiple partners, erotic romance, or just plain romance…but this was new for me…and I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t any different from anything else I read except that it has men instead of women. I liked it and would be willing to read it again. Well done Addison Avery.
I liked the romance and the insecurity of Garrett and the willingness to just love him by the other two men, Sam and Logan. That sounds like ANY relationship. It wasn’t easy for him to overcome his fears but by the end he did and I felt happy for him.
In the end I am rating this book 4 stars. It was good and it drew you into the characters and made you want them to have a happy ending. My only problem is that the book was very short, probably 50-75 pages. Otherwise it was a good book.

Spellbound by Nora Roberts

While world-famous photographer Calin Farrell enjoys a much-needed vacation in Ireland, he becomes bewitched by the ravishingly beautiful Bryna Torrence. In fact, so bewitched that he refuses to believe in the spell that has brought them together—and could destroy them both.

This was a quick read (only 96 pages) that is something wonderful to enjoy. It’s a story about a witch and her warrior who are fighting an evil wizard. She casts a spell that they would meet again in 1000 years and if their love holds true then the evil wizard would be defeated. If not she would be the evil wizards slave for the next 1000 years.
This story is charming. It’s set in Ireland near the coast. The way Nora Roberts describes the scenery makes you believe it’s real. Possibly is real, because she writes a lot of stories about Ireland. I really want to visit there in real life, but visiting through my imagination inspired by her writing makes it worth reading.
The story of Calin and Bryna isn’t just a love story. It’s about the love and trust that these two have to have for and with each other to make their love last. Bryna tries to protect him and he doesn’t want to accept what he knows to be the truth. In the end everything works out but there was a moment when you really wanted to bop him on the head and call him stupid. Then again Bryna has her pushy moments.
In the end, I’m giving this book 4.5 stars. I really think it’s good and even though it’s short, the quality makes you want to invest more into these characters. Good job, Nora.

Beauty and the Beasts by Ava Rose Johnson

For centuries the Kingdom of Drayzlake has been divided between the humans and the wolves. The two sides live by their own rules and follow their own leaders. But when a wolf crosses the Divide and bites the humans' princess, all hell breaks loose.

With wolven blood now running in her veins, Princess Abigail is forced to mate with a wolf on every full moon. What she doesn't realize is that she is mating with two wolves rather than one. Caine and Stavros are identical twins and soon-to-be Alphas of their pack. And they're tired of taking turns.

So on one moonlit night after another vigorous mating session, Abigail finds herself kidnapped to the wolves' quarters. Trapped in their fort, she can't deny the two beasts who desire her so, and locked between their powerful bodies, she can hardly remember her own name. But it soon becomes clear that these sexual games are as dangerous as they are delicious. Because Caine and Stavros don't just want her for the full moon...

They want her forever.

Ava Rose Johnson knows how to weave a fantasy that draws readers in and makes them believe that this is a real place. I love authors who are able to do that! I love that even though Drayzlake is obviously a pretend fantasy land, I believe that it’s real by the end of the book. Ava’s website wasn’t working for me, but I posted it below, so I don’t know whether she has done more books based on this reality. I sort of hope she did.
Princess Abigail has to deal with the choices lain before her. If she agrees to stay with the wolves then her father will abandon her. But he’s not exactly perfect, as she soon finds out. If she chooses to be with the wolves then she will have two men who absolutely adore her. And she adores them…even if she won’t admit it.
It’s a good tale of having to face your own actions and standing up for what you want. Plus it’s a good reminder that prejudices are dumb. I love when Abigail realizes that she was wrong and that she could get past her prejudices about the wolf people.
Obviously the sex is delicious in this book! The two men treat her like she is a scrumptious treat and savor their time with her. It makes you want to experience being treated like that. At least I wouldn’t mind two men eating me up like I’m the best desert they’ve ever had. *wink*
In the end I’m giving this book 4.3 stars. I loved the idea of this new place and am just sad that the story had to end.

A Pirate's Life for Three by Amber Carlton

Katherine Cross escaped a confining life and now lives as Captain Kit Savage. She embraces adventure on The Black Rose and her relationship with fellow pirate, James Kingsley. James has a lusty body and a bad temper, but Kit revels in the sexual pleasure he provides.
Quinn Blackwell has two solutions for a financial crisis: find his lost fiancée or find Silas Watkins' plans for an amazing invention. Quinn finds both on The Black Rose, and his arrival creates a powder keg of sexual tension. As Kit, James, and Quinn vie for dominance in the captain's quarters, the mystery of an elusive journal leads to an explosive showdown.
A pirate's life for three isn't easy, but there's never a dull moment.

Amber Carlton knows how to weave a story about a time that most of us imagine about. The Black Rose comes to life with the characters and their lusty wantonness. Truthfully, I wanted to join in on the fun as I read this. The plot isn’t dull either.
There is romance, sexiness, and sex; but there is also a good telling of piracy, secrecy, and there’s even a little mystery/murder happening that they have to deal with. Captain Kit’s signature is to run people off with threats and leave them a black rose calling card. Well now someone else is using the black roses and it’s not her. She has to discover who’s behind it…but first she has to come out of the captain’s quarters.
I think what’s appealing to me the most about this book is that even though there is a lot of intrigue, mystery, and drama most of the book is spent with the very horny captain satisfying herself with two horny pirate men. This is a women’s wet dream come alive…or at least it’s my wet dream ;). I felt like I could be part of the story because it drew me in so well.
I am rating this book 4.5 stars. I really enjoyed it and it was long enough to satisfy me.

Twin Games: The Heroes of Silver Springs #2 by Tonya Ramagos

Angelina Keaton inherits the Keaton Municipal Airport and someone doesn't like it, but fires and tampered airplanes aren't enough to make her sell the family business.
But she can't save the airport without help. She finds that help and a whole lot more in the Graham brothers.
Firefighter Jason Graham loves games. One look at Angelina and he knows he's found the perfect playmate. But someone is playing a different game with Angelina and it's turning deadly. Jason is no investigator but his twin brother is. Who better to call in on a mystery than an FBI Agent?
Put FBI Agent Jackson Graham in the middle of a case and he's in his element. Not one for games, he prefers the direct approach and straightforward solutions. But when he finds himself in the middle of a game between his brother and Angelina, he decides playing along just this once could be fun.

All I can say about this book is that it is great. There is everything in here. Well okay that is an exaggeration but there is sex, love, attempted murder, crazy people, and twins! The plot of the story is that Angelina inherits an airport from her uncle. Her cousin thinks it should be his and he tries to make her ‘pay’ for it. While she’s dealing with that she meets Jason, the firefighter, and starts a sexy, hot, lustful and sex filled relationship. Eventually things escalate and the FBI is called in. Jackson, the FBI agent and Jason’s twin, comes to town and by accident ends up with Angelina. After a crazy and fun night things escalate again. Everybody’s emotions come out and the cousin is caught.
The sex in this book is great. I sort of think it should have been named Sex Games. There is reference to a book inside the book that would have been perfect to model the games that Jason and Angelina play together. Even though Jackson is sort of a onetime addition to their bed, it sure made the book read better about the way their relationship turned out.
There is a subplot that I really think is going to lead into another book. I haven’t checked it out yet but I will soon. I would like to know what happens. (I just looked. It’s book number 4 in the series)
In the end I rate this book 4 stars. It’s great for sex, fun, and a little bit of intrigue.

Dirty Diana by Lexie Davis

Porn star Diana Marco had a prominent reputation in the adult film industry, starring in numerous films under the name Dirty Diana. But after thirteen years, Diana feels a need for something more meaningful in her life and plans for retirement. However, after filming her last movie, she's abducted and taken to the middle of nowhere. In a desperate need to save her life, Diana escapes her captors and hitches a ride to the sheriff's department in the next town. After explaining her situation, the sheriff takes her into his home and introduces her to his brothers. The three men offer her everything she's dreamed of for so long, it almost seems too good to be true. Can this city girl truly find her happily ever after with three sexy cowboys?

Lexie Davis weaves a story of romance and intrigue with the story of Dirty Diana, the porn star who gets kidnapped, escapes, and finds herself cocooned in the warmth of three caring brothers. It may sound quite simple but this story weaves the emotions of each character so well that I’d actually expect to meet the characters on the street.
Diana was leaving porn at the end of a really bad contract. She was done with the life. Then she got kidnapped. It makes sense that at that time in her life she found a man who knew what she had done and loved her anyway. It also makes sense that she ended up falling for three guys. Who better than a porn actress to like multiple partners?
The writing of this story was not particularly complex but the ease with which you follow the characters through the twists and turns that is their life makes me appreciate the writing ability a whole lot more. Lexie Davis did a really good job with making the characters real and believable. Brava Lexie, Brava!
In the end I’m giving this book 4.25 stars. I really liked the characters and the way the book made me feel. Kind of slutty but with a respect for myself. Perfect writing to be able to invoke those feelings.

Her planned escape doesn't go without a hitch, and the boys must rescue her from a brutal man who would rather kill her than let her go.

Can Tyler and Thomas heal Nevvie's wounded body and soul and prove to her that she really is their dream come true?

I loved this book. It reached out to my heart to see Tyler and Thomas ‘rescue’ Nevvie from such an abusive relationship. Then she has to rebuild herself back up to be able to accept that they truly love her. It’s such a heartwarming story that I gravitated towards it instantly.
The relationship among the characters is something to revel in. Tymber Dalton knows how to make the characters come alive and really work with each other. Each character has something they’re good at and they are pushed to excel at whatever that is.
Truthfully I haven’t read the book in a few months so right now I’m rating it 3.5 stars and I’m going to reread it again later. Perhaps I’ll have more insight to the characters after a second read…

The Polyamorous Princess by Melodee Aaron

A passionate, spoiled princess. A brilliant intelligence officer. A tough marine.
Princess Allison, the coddled daughter of the Emperor of Mankind, is irreparably disturbed by the vicious war with the cat-like Arupians. Her social life is in shambles. Her friends are all on duty. Allie spends her days teaching old American history at the University or else hiding out in the royal Safe Room.
Then two fascinating men enter her life.
Second Lieutenant Damon Hyde is a swaggering and respected marine. Most people think he’s fearless–except for Allie, who falls for his vulnerability.
Lieutenant JG Harrison Douglas is brilliant. Most people think he’s also crazy–except for Allie, who is drawn to his eccentricity.
Brought together by fate, Allie falls in love, torn between the two men who love her and fight to win her. As new and disparate emotions blossom, Allie, Damon, and Harry are pulled into a passionate, polyamorous relationship. The three are forced to come to terms with their love for one another as they rely on their wits and skills, not only for their own survival, but also for all mankind on His Majesty’s Star Ship Boone.

This is one of the first sci-fi romances I’ve read. But despite being out of my comfort zone this was a good read. I’d heard the term polyamorous before but this was the first time that I had actually seen/read what it was really about.
This book is about Allison liking two guys. She had it stuck in her head that she had to like only one, despite her father loving multiple women and her sisters also being in polyamorous relationships. Allison finally decides that she likes both right about the same time that the two men decide that they actually like each other too. In the end the relationship works out perfectly.
However getting to the end was not so simple. There was a war going on and having both men work for the ‘army/military’ did not make for an easy relationship. One of them gets captured and the other has to go rescue him. It was exciting to read because Melodee Aaron really knows how to draw the readers into caring about the characters.
I know this is a short review but I’m going to give the book 3.25 stars and read it again at another date and probably rewrite my review.
