Back in Her Bed by
Leah Brooke is a short story in Tasty Treats Anthology: Volume 2. It’s
about Emily Peterson coming to terms with her husband, Jack Manning, coming
back into her life after leaving for three months. It’s a good story
about how Emily has to come to terms with Jack coming back into her life. She
had been trying to move on because she thought he had left for good.
There are some really good sex
scenes. Leah Brooke knows how to keep the readers eyes glued to the page. I was
really impressed with the anal scene in this story. Most anal scenes are okay
but Leah Brooke hit the mark with this one. There are other scenes with Jack
dominating Emily. Dominating as in making her give up control in the bedroom
where she can’t do that in real life. I was surprised by how wet I became
thinking about experiencing that myself. ;)
The story itself is relatively
simple about Emily finally letting Jack back into her heart and then him
explaining the importance behind why he left. While the story stands on its own
it is too short to be printed by itself. I’m glad that Siren Publishing picked
it up for the Tasty Treats Anthology. Overall I give this story 4.5 stars.
