Deception by Jenny Penn

Banning & Dunn's newest development has ground to a halt thanks to the determined opposition of one woman. In an attempt to save money and time, the developers decide to take matters into their own hands.
When Tessa opens the door to Ty and Chase, she is expecting to help her friend with her marital problems, not get swept off her feet by two of the sexiest men she ever met. One night of passion evolves into a sizzling weeklong affair.
When reality crushes Tessa's fantasies, will she be able to get over being deceived?

The idea behind this story is that Tessa thinks that Ty and Chase are someone else and they don’t disabuse her of the notion. It’s sort of like love at first sight….well lust at first sight anyway. They end up having a pretty passionate affair and then reality sets in. Then comes the real test of a relationship. They end up working everything out but it takes some work to get there.
The sex in this story is fantastic. I was getting wet just reading the words. Definitely something to reread! The descriptions were great and really made you feel like you were there and witnessing what was going on.
I didn’t really like that they were deceiving Tessa when they knew they had strong feelings for her. I guess it’s slightly excusable since the whole book happens in little over one week. Not a lot of time to get down and dirty in a relationship. At the same time, both men ordered wedding rings, so they had time to get to the crux of the problem long before it did.
Tessa’s reaction was hilarious! She had Ty arrested. For prostitution! It’s funny because he actually did take money from her but then he ‘forgot’ about it. It was great because it was very embarrassing and sort of fitting in an ironic way. His reaction to it led to a very good scene with lots of sex and lots of emotion. It was a perfect scene.
For this book I rate it 4 stars. There are a lot of things that make this book good and I really like that the characters felt real. I was only disappointed that the book was so short.
